  Absolutely horrendous experience . Be careful about what is covered by your insurance company. My wife was told that she would have to pay $90 to get the results of the refraction, after the exam was performed, because according to the staff that took care of my wife, insurance does not cover refractions. I called our insurance company . The agent told me that this information was absoutely false and that they would look into why the practice was stating this erronious information. When I spoke to the billing mgr, Sherry, and told her that I had spoken to my insurance company , she immeidately changed the story previously told and said that th refraction was covered but 97% of insurance companies don't cover it. I asked why this wasn't checked before the exam. She had no answer other than reiterating the same statement. My wife has been going to this practice for a number of years, but, it had been a year since the last exam. She will no longer be using this practice. Be wary if you do.
